Pursuant to art. 13 of the Italian Data Protection Law you are hereby informed as follows:

a) personal data supplied to GERUNDA MERLETTI S.R.L. through the web portal corresponding to the aforesaid official website are used for the web services offered by this portal, especially the provision of information in response to requests.
During their normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures which operate this web site acquire some personal data the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communications protocols.  These data are not gathered for association with identified subjects, but by their very nature, when processed or associated with data held by third parties, they might allow users to be identified.  This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who log onto the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used when submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the server’s response status (concluded successfully, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information concerning use of the site and to check that it is operating correctly and they are deleted immediately after processing. The data concerned might be used to identify those responsible in the event of any IT crime against the site.

b) for the purpose of the fulfilment of a request for the service through the site, the provision of the data is necessary for the delivery of the services in question.
It should also be noted that the optional, explicit, voluntary dispatch of electronic mail to the addresses provided on this site inevitably leads to the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary in order to reply to the enquiry, and any other personal data included in the message.
When requesting services or submitting enquiries, we urge our users not to give the names or other personal data of third parties unless strictly necessary.

c) in the event of refusal to provide the personal data, it will not be possible to deliver the services for which the use of the data was necessary.

d) personal data are used by trustees and users assigned by the company; no data deriving from the web services are disclosed or distributed to staff or organisations outside the company, except for institutional purposes or to meet specific legal requirements. The personal data supplied by the service’s users are used only for the provision of the service or function requested and are not communicated to third parties unless the said communication is required by law or strictly necessary for fulfilment of the user’s requests.  For specific institutional tasks, as well as the data users and trustees employed by the individual municipal services to which the request relates, personal data may also be used by data trustees and users employed by the protocol and archive service.

e) under art. 7 of Decree Law no. 196/2003, the subjects to whom personal data refer are entitled, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether or not these data exist and to be informed of their contents and origin, check their accuracy or have them supplemented, updated or rectified. Data subjects are also entitled to request the deletion, conversion into anonymous form or freezing of data held in breach of the law, and in all cases to refuse to allow their use, on legitimate grounds.
Requests under  art. 7 of Decree Law no.196/2003 must be submitted to GERUNDA MERLETTI S.R.L.
